CHS Pharma entered into an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Research Corporation in October 2005 to commercialize issued patent (US Patent # 7,129.374) and pending technology (US Application # 20060235080) for the treatment and prevention of skin, oral, and other cancers. CHS Pharma initially intends to develop a new treatment for skin cancers (and pre-cancerous skin conditions) and simultaneously develop a unique over the counter (OTC) cancer protection sunscreen. The premise for these projects is discoveries made by Dr. Herbert Weissbach, Director of the Center for Molecular Biology & Biotechnology at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Sciences at FAU. |
